What is the dress code?

The occasion is black tie. Gentlemen are kindly requested to wear tuxedos, and ladies are invited to wear formal evening attire.

May I bring a guest?

We are thrilled to celebrate with our closest friends and family. If your invitation includes a guest, it will be indicated on the envelope.

Are children invited?

While we love your children dearly, we kindly ask that this special evening be reserved for adults only, unless otherwise indicated on your invitation.

Where are the ceremony and reception being held?

The ceremony will take place at Christ Episcopal Church, 120 East Edenton Street, Raleigh, North Carolina. The reception will follow at Carolina Country Club, 2500 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, North Carolina.

Is parking available?

Yes. Parking is available at Christ Church on Capital Square. There is additional parking located across the street. Parking is also available on-site at Carolina Country Club.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Guests are kindly asked to arrive no later than 3:45 PM at Christ Church on Capital Square. Out of respect for the ceremony, once the ceremony has started, no guests will be allowed to enter the Sanctuary.

What is the weather like in Raleigh during this time of year?

October in Raleigh is typically between 55 - 70 degrees, depending on the minute. Regardless of weather day of, barring an act of God, both ceremony and reception will be indoors.

How do I RSVP?

Guests are asked to RSVP using the enclosed response card and pre-addressed envelope included in their invitation. This card must be mailed back and received by August 15. Due to vendor requirements, we are unable to accept late RSVPs.

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes. We have secured several hotel room blocks for our guests. Please visit the Accommodations page to view hotel options and booking details. Rooms must be reserved by September 10 to guarantee availability and preferred rates.

How do I note dietary restrictions?

Dietary restrictions or food allergies should be noted on the enclosed response card.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Out of reverence for the ceremony, we kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the service. We invite guests to be fully present and look forward to sharing professional photos and videos afterwards.

Where are you registered?

Registry details are available on the Registry page of our website, for those who wish to give a gift.

Who should I contact with questions?

Our website includes detailed information regarding the wedding weekend, including dress code, guest attendance and logistics. We kindly ask that guests refer to the website first, as many common questions are addressed here. If you have additional questions, you are welcome to reach out to Houston or Raiford directly. Please note that as we approach the wedding weekend, responses may be delayed. We appreciate your understanding.
